5 Nerdy Mobile Halloween Costumes of 2014!

Meg Rahner October 31, 2014

Happy Halloween! Not only is today a fun holiday for children and adults alike, but it is also a Friday which means there’s no excuse for not dressing up tonight. Still need some costumes ideas? There’s still time… We present to you, the second annual list of 5 nerdy mobile Halloween costumes!

1. Bent iPhone 6

Hopefully you weren’t one of the few people that experienced your hot new gadget bending. Assuming you aren’t bitter, add a little flare to your iPhone 6 costume by making it bend a bit. Find full instruction on how to make this here.

2. Google Glass

Google Glass has been a hot commodity in 2014, and whether you love them or you hate them, it’s hard to deny that wearable technology is just a fad. If you can’t afford the high pricetag of the real Google Glass, why not just DIY?

Important (NSFW) Note: This costume does not make you a Glassh**e.

3. 404 Error

Ah, the dreaded 404 error message. It may be irritating on your screen, but on your clothes it can provide some comic relief for those of you who need a geeky last minute costume. This is a part of Mashable’s 12 Halloween Costumes You Can Make in 5 Minutes or Less.

4. The Reddit Alien

Now that Reddit finally has an official mobile app and is more hip than hipster, take this grand opportunity to dress as Reddit’s mascot, the Reddit alien. This is a photo of Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Touché.

5. Grumpy Cat

It’s not Halloween without cats. People dressed up as cats, cats dressed up as people.. and Grumpy Cats. This particular cat is an Internet sensation and your costume could be, too. But just remember – it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile. Cheer up, Grumpy Cat.

Bonus: Cats in a Castle!

Happy Halloween! Be safe and have fun!
