“Ask Me Anything” Keynote Panel at Searchmetrics’ Conference

“Ask Me Anything” Keynote Panel at Searchmetrics’ Conference

Meg Rahner June 13, 2014

Searchmetrics’ Enterprise Marketing Conference is wrapping up on a high note; five industry-expert panelists will take on unpredictable questions from the audience in a “Reddit AMA (Ask-Me-Anything) Style” panel as the final keynote session of the conference.  Anne A. Ward, Editor-in-Chief of MobileFOMO and CEO of CircleClick, will be a one of five panelists. This event will be hosted by Search Engine Journal in San Francisco on June 13, 2014.

“The Desktop (not SEO!) is Officially Dead” and Other Matters: @annebot of @CircleClick

Ward says regarding the AMA format,

I’m not sure I’d agree AMA makes people ‘comfortable’ per se, but it definitely makes it more interesting for the audience. People are tired of the same old stuffy interviews and they want to spend time hearing something valuable. I also wouldn’t discount the fact that AMAs seem much more genuine to the audience… There’s something truly fun about randomness and chaos. AMAs also show us who has a great sense of humor and who doesn’t.”

The other panelists in this session are Andre Bourque of Technorati, Brandon Prebynski of Cisco; Sujan Patel of Bridge.us, and Frederick Vallaeys of Optmzyr. This panel will be moderated by Kelsey Jones of Search Engine Journal.
