Urban Airship offers two types of automated mobile campaigns. Multi-step campaigns send a variety of automated messages that change over time in response to the consumer’s interactions with your app. In addition to sending messages based on the consumer’s mobile behavior, multi-step campaigns can be set to automatically send follow-up messages after an event, like when a consumer completes a purchase. Silverpop is an Internet marketing company that has recently added mobile marketing automation to its arsenal of tools. Whenever a consumer hits a target score, the automation tool kicks in and begins sending the consumer mobile marketing messages.
