2013 was an exciting year for digital marketing. Brands are increasing more and more in their budget for marketing. According to a recent StrongView survey, 46% of companies will be increasing budget and 47% maintaining current levels of their budget for digital marketing. Even Proctor and Gamble plans intends on throwing as much as 35% of their budget to digital media.
Many of the changes affect the creative, digital platforms, and even the buying aspect related to marketing. More and more brands are adopting a native form of advertising creative and there’s no doubt that mobile is a big game changer for marketers. Due to mobile, brands have to consider cross-platform usage into their marketing campaigns.
66% of people use their phone simultaneously with their computer and 81% use their phone simultaneously with their TV.
