Email has been a marketing channel for over 20 years. It is still an effective one and will likely stick around for a while. However, mobile usage is quickly growing and more and more people are checking their email on their smartphones. That’s a significant change in user behavior that not should be ignored. Styling and formatting for marketing emails have to adapt with mobile usage in mind. The design has to be simple enough and easy to view or else there will be a high likelihood of deleting and unsubscribing to the email lists.
