Now that school is out, you may need to find a little distraction for the kids in your down time. This app is targeted at “kids and kids-at-heart” and features original videos, games, animated shorts, and more. While targeted for kids, we’re pretty sure that Mom and Dad can have fun too. 🙂

This game challenges you to solve puzzles and find hidden objects in order to make it though eight rooms and two bonus rooms. Even the description boasts its addictiveness—see for yourself! Watch out crazy birds, you had your reign as app king!
8. Ask.fm (Social Networking)
The mobile adaptation of the question-based social network, this app lets you ask and answer questions based on interests. You can stay notified anytime via push notifications.
7. Battery Saver (Utilities)
If you think your iPhone’s battery doesn’t last long enough, join the millions of users who swear by this app, and say it can improve your battery life by more than 30 percent. Battery Save is ranked number seven overall, but is consistently the number one utility app.
6. Google Maps (Navigation)
Lose the atlas, say good-bye to the bulky GPS device, and streamline your life with Google Maps. Search for places, get directions, or even have audio navigation guide you along your way. We also have to give a shout out to the super awesome Waze app as well…!
